Marriage relationship is a forever relationship. By its very nature, marriage is intended to be a life time relationship.

" And the Lord God said, it is not good that the man should be alone ; I will make an help meet for him. " [ Gen. 2 : 18 ]

With these words God set forth a fundamental and basic fact of the human family. Inherent in man's creation is his need of a mate.

Man is a social creature. God ordained the institution of marriage and it applies to the whole human race. God has instituted for all mankind the joy and pleasure of marriage .

All the relationships of the human family - sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and so forth comes from the institution of marriage.

God designed marriage as a refuge for times when everything is going wrong in the world. when people don't like you or when you're facing problems. Ideally, your forever [marriage] partner is someone who loves you and cares for you regardless of what is going on around you or what you are going through. To help you solve your problems and provide security in a world that is constantly changing is your partner.

Marriage is only as good as the degree to which the couple is wiling to work at it. Good marriages and families need working at, and it take time. Good family relationship do not fall out of the sky. You have to build a good family like any other building programme, that means hard work and commitment to see the project finished. In the same way, marriages and family life have to be fashioned according to the specifications laid down by the maker. They are found in His book, the Bible. No matter how bad these relationship may be now, they can change if you are willing to follow God's instructions.

Marriage by its very nature is intended to be a lifetime relationship. The permanency of this relationship was attested by the words of Jesus, " Therefore what God hath joined together, let no man put asunder".'[Matt 19 : 6]
